Hmmm. This is my first blog. I'm not even entirely sure why I want to do this, but it seems fairly interesting. I should probably find a good free server and install some better blog software, but for now I'll be using Blogger.
I suppose I should start with an introduction. My name, as you might have guessed, is Robert. I'm 27 years old. I am married to Leandra. We have a 17-month old son named Joshua, and another son due July 8.
My wife and I met in college. We were friends for about a year, then dated for about two years. We were married shortly after graduation, in June 2000.
I am a computer programmer at MEMC Southwest located in Sherman, Texas. We live nearby in Bells.
My family (parents, brother & sister, maternal grandparents, 3 aunts and 2 uncles) all live in Bells as well. I never really intended to live in the same town as I grew up in, but it just turned out that way. We found a house we really liked that happened to be in Bells. So here we are!
We are fundamentalist Christians. We attend Faith Bible Church, which meets at Starr Aircraft. We've been going there for a few months and are very happy so far, but we haven't made many friends yet. Hopefully that will improve. The elders are supposed to be starting a new small group Bible study and we will be part of that. We're told it is a great opportunity for fellowship and growth.
