This story is a perfect example of why I'm trying to get my company to allow employees with concealed handgun licenses to carry while at work. We can all imagine how different the story would be if one or more of the factory employees had a weapon and could defend themselves and the four who were murdered. As Thomas Jefferson said, "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
