The Senate passed a resolution supporting Israel.
With scant dissent, the Senate passed a resolution that said the United States and Israel are "engaged in a common struggle against terrorism," and condemned Palestinian suicide bombings.
I am surprised that Congress is being firmer than Bush is on this.

I was impressed that the Senate showed such solidarity on this, especially considering how obstructionist Daschle and co. have been recently. Now if they could just consider some judicial appointees.
