Notes for Bible Study Tomorrow

This site has moved to robert.williamsonline.us.

Here are some notes of the study I've done for my Bible study / discipleship tomorrow morning. They aren't real neat.

Memory Verse: Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Jesus said He is eternal in John 17:5
Jesus said He is one with the Father in John 17:11
Jesus said He is not of the world in John 17:14

Who do I think Jesus is?
I think Jesus is God, the Messiah, the Son of God, the Lamb of God that takes away the world’s sins, and my Savior and Lord.

What are Jesus’s attributes?
He was born of a virgin.
He is divine.
He is eternal.
He is the perfect image of God the Father.
He is sinless.
He is compassionate and merciful.
He is powerful, vengeful, and righteous.
He is loving.
He loves repentant, seeking sinners and backslidden or wayward Christians.
He hates sin and will judge unrepentant sinners.

Is there another way?
Jesus said that He was the only way and that the road to life was narrow and few find it, but most go down the broad road that leads to destruction.
