I was really happy with the way Pampers handled its Pampers Perks program.

If you placed an order before the program's January 31, 2002 deadline, but after toy supplies were gone, we'll send you a check for the comparable cash value of the toy plus the shipping and handling fees you sent us.

My wife saved a bunch of points and ordered quite a few toys. We were pretty disappointed when we got letters saying that the program was "while supplies last" and the supplies were gone. But then, a few weeks ago, we a total of around $150.00 worth of checks from Pampers in lieu of the toys we requested. That was for 3 toys, I think - they sent a generous amount for each toy. They were under no obligation to do so. I was so pleased with the way they handled this that I thought it would be good to publish it somewhere.
