My department manager came by today and told me he's going to get broadband internet access for me. Woo-hoo! Unfortunately, DSL is not yet available so I'll have to settle for cable. But I'm not complaining! I am thinking about setting up a small wireless network here, and buying a cheap laptop so I can be mobile at home but still have a machine accessible with enough horsepower for development work.
