I bought a Kel-Tec P32 today. I already own a P11, but it's too big to carry concealed all the time. I can only carry it if I'm wearing an untucked shirt, or a jacket. I have a pocket holster for the P11 which is OK for just walking around, but if I sit down or anything it bulges out and looks funny. The P11 is so incredibly small (only 3/4 of an inch thick) and light (9.4 oz loaded) that I can and will carry it all the time.
I know a .32 is a small gun, and lots of folks like to make fun of it in favor of a 9mm or .45. But there are two rules of self defense that I turn to: (1) Anything that goes "bang" is better than throwing rocks, and (2) The gun you carry beats the gun you don't. I'll still carry my 9mm when I can, but I have this .32 for when I'm not carrying a "real" gun.
Can you tell I'm excited?

If you don't mind me asking, how much experience do you have with guns? My wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law all used to dislike guns...until I took them shooting. Now my sister-in-law likes to shoot, my mother-in-law wants to get her concealed handgun license, and my wife won't let me leave her without a gun at home (even though I have an arsenal of rifles & shotguns, she insists on having the 9mm there, go figure. I'd rather have the 12 gauge for home defense.)
