ABCNEWS.com : Who Is John Allen Muhammad?

Friends and neighbors described a quiet, physically fit man who changed his name from John Allen Williams after converting to Islam and generally kept to himself.

A tall, slender man who always kept his hair closely cropped, Muhammad lived in a neighborhood near the Tacoma Mall in Washington state from 1994 to 2000, where neighbors told ABCNEWS they frequently heard him conducting target practice in his back yard at night.

The Seattle Times today quoted unnamed sources as saying the two men may have been motivated by anti-American sentiments and had allegedly expressed sympathy for the hijackers in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

<sarcasm>Yes, I know it's just coincidental that, like all the other terrorists nowadays, this one happens to a Follower of the Religion of Peace. So I'm not even going to bring it up.</sarcasm>

Actually, I was hoping it was the French guy.
