Sorry blogging has been non-existent lately; there's just not been much to write about.
I've stopped caring when the war on Iraq will officially start. I used to attach great significance to each and every development, and would regularly predict a start date. But I got to thinking, in 2 years will I even remember when the war officially started, much less care how close I guessed? I'm certain that, sooner or later, we'll attack Iraq and swiftly overthrow Saddam and liberate those people. But I'm tired of worrying over troop movements, moon phases, diplomatic concerns, etc. I don't have one percent of the information necessary to even think intelligently about the timing, nor do I suspect many people do.
When the time is right, Bush will call Rumsfeld who'll call Tommy Franks and it'll be on. And until that happens, I'm just going to have to be patient.
